Pricing

Sending is free.
Pay only for storage.

Direct sends need no account and no money, with no size cap. A Ferry account adds held files for people who are not online yet, and the plan decides how many you can hold at once.

Your files

Where your files live.

Direct sends
Go straight from one device to the other and are never stored anywhere. No account needed.
Files sent with an account
Are stored in the cloud, but only in encrypted form, until they expire. You choose how long, from 1 hour up to 7 days.
Who can read them
Not us. The file is sealed in your browser and the key stays in the link, which never reaches our servers. You can also add a password.
Opening it again
The sender can open it from their dashboard on the device they sent it from. Anyone with the link, and the password if there is one, can open it until it expires.

Questions

Pricing, answered

Do I need an account to send a file?

No. Direct sends between two devices are free, need no account and have no size cap. An account is for held files, a full history and the dashboard.

What counts against my storage?

Held files that are still live. A file stops counting when it expires or when you remove it.

What happens when I reach my storage limit?

New held sends pause until you remove a file or one expires. Files you already hold stay available to the people you sent them to.

Can Ferry read my held files?

No. Your browser seals each file before it leaves your device, and the key stays in the link you share. What we store is unreadable to us.

How long can I hold a file?

You choose when you send, up to 7 days.

How do I upgrade or add storage?

Open Plan and storage in your dashboard and send a request. You can also add storage to any plan without changing plan.

Start with a direct send. Add an account when you need one.

Free to send, free to receive, and nothing to install.
